    Bosicor Refinery

Bosicor Pakistan Limited owns the Crude Oil Refinery at Mouza Kund Plant about 60 km away from Karachi.

The company has completed its first turnaround on 15th August 2005 at the plant which increased its production capacity to 18,500 barrels per day.

The company has also carried its revamp study with the consultation of (UOP) UK and started its implementation which will enhance the production capacity to 30,000 barrels per day by October 2006, while an addition of 126,000 tons storage capacity will also be completed by November 2006.

The company has further plans to start its operations as OMCs and open 100 petrol pumps by investing Rs500mn.

Among other long term plans, the company is planning to bring an additional refining capacity of 120,000 barrels per day which is expected to complete by the December 2008. The refinery would consist of mainly crude distillation, gas separation, naphtha hydro treating, plat former, diesel hydro desulphurization, vacuum distillation and a visbreaker plant.

According to HY2006 results, EPS of Rs.0.50 was recorded which is 28% increase as compared to corresponding period last year. According to our fair value estimate which is Rs37.5, we recommend Buy at current levels.

    DEAR MATEEN BAHI,

YESTERDAY, I HAVE BOUGHT 500 SHARES OF SSGC @42.50 AND 1000 SHARES OF BOSICOR @31.25. NOW, I AM IN A STATE OF CONFUSION WHETHER TO HOLD THESE SHARES OR SELL IT BEFORE IT GOES FURTHER DOWN IN VIEW OF SELLING PRESSURE THIS WEEK.

I WANT YOUR EXPERT OPINION OR OF MY OTHER SENIOR COLLEAGUES IN THIS REGARD.

h ru all of you ......... BOSICOR looking to gr8 in long term minimum 5 years , the reason behind this they are expending lots of money to increase refinery and also plain to start petrol pumps in pakistan but its to long to stay in my perdiction if you are using average system script wise the roll over the amount against BOSI shares and avg them into Rs.10-15 , and then stay for long , hope they are given you lots of benefits in future .................

    BEST FO LUCK
