Have the board settings been changed or something, because now all the posts are appearing in reverse?
That is, the most recent post is 1st on pg.1, followed by the next oldest post & so on.
This is actually very confusing when trying to follow a thread, and is completely different to how other boards do it.
Most messages in a forum follow-on from each other, so that someone posts something, then another person replies to it & so. To stay fully up-to-date I find the earliest unread message in a forum, and then go on to the next unread message & so on.
By having the messages in reverse, the user has to find the last message that he read & then scroll upwards. Then he finds the first unread message. He scrolls down to read the complete message, then again scrolls up to find the 2nd unread message & so on. This backwards & forwards scrolling is enough to drive anyone nuts.
In the old system, the user only had to scroll in one direction: downwards.
I think it should be changed back to the old format with the earliest post first & the latest post at the end on the last page.
