    Hi guys,

    There are two RMO variations at the AFl site. I wouldadvise you to use mine, the other one calls-in the optimize function which in my opiniion needs further thought. anyways here are the formulas:

    Virk sb,

    Here i am back again to pick ur brains(and being a major pain in the backside).

    I ran your stage two and four scans on for the EOD data of 18th May. The exploration has picked out Searl in Stage four. It doesnt look that it is in stage four so i have concluded that i have goofed up once again, even doing a simple task as cut and paste. Can u please let me know where i have erred.

    Filter = MA (C,10) < MA (C,30) AND ADX() < 30;
    AddColumn( Close, "Last Close" );
    AddColumn( V, "Volume",1 );

    regards

    Dear Alam Sab,

    How are you sir.

    Stages Explorations are static and limited. Although, one can find most of the on-the-up/down-move stocks, as per the given constraints, but not all.

    Perhaps, you would like to incorporate a 200-MA argument to eliminate on-the-up move stocks being dedected. For instance, a modified stage-4 filter may look like this:

    Filter = MA (C,10) < EMA (C,30) AND C < MA(C,200) and (ADX() < 30;

    OR

    You may wish to leave the original code as it is, but add any long-term MA on your price chart to combat the issue.

    Regards,

    MAV
